I was trying to fix the stupid blend door with the nail trick and when I reconnected the acuator it stopped working. So I thought ok I will just have to get an part later on. I decided to try and fix my vacuum hose to the black ball thingy by the passenger fender. I hooked the new line in and BAM no heat. I need help my heat is not working and I dont know what to do. Its snowing outside. It just blows out cold air. PLEASE HELP

give the actuator a second to turn, with the key in and heater on, with eh actuator in your hand turn the temp wheel and wait for it to turn

If your blend door is stuck in the cold position and the nail trick did not grab the door enough to turn it, then it may be time to cut a hole in the front of the box, move the blend door to the heat position with your hand (hole is about 2" x 4.5" to get hand in there) then duct tape it into position and duct tape the hole closed.

This will get you heat until spring when you can remove the heater box and replace the blend door

I went and bought a new blend door actuator. It still doesn't work. I opened up the old one and used the "D shaped piece" to turn the heat on. I have heat now. I just need to figure out how to get the actuator to work. Any ideas?

UPDATE: I figured out the blend door actuator. I reset the system by pulling out fuse #36. Everything works great now. I wish I didn't spend 45 bucks on a new one. But all well. I just need to figure out the vacuum lines.

if everything is working what makes you think there is a vacuum issue?

I still was not getting air from my vents or floor. I found that one of the vacuum lines was broke. I just fixed it and everything is all done.
