i got the lift thing figured out!

i figured out a lift for the third gen it will be a 3 1/2 for the front and a 3" for the rear. the lift will be in the form of a strut spacer, i am also doing a 3" body,with custom side steps to help cover some of the frame. i will finally be able to roll 35's!

Spacing the coils out that far might throw the camber way off as the upper and lower arms are typically not equal length. You also have to make sure the CV-based axle shafts don't go boom boom.

i have a freind who knows a guy thats friend who works at a walmart, and he lifted his 03 explorer with hockey pucks for a body lift. and lifted his explorer up about 3 inches and put it on jackstands, and heated his springs and it made the ride hight stay almost as high as it was on jackstands. so he ended up with about 5.5 " lift. it dont ride as good and his tires are wearing out funny. but it looks sick with 35" boggers and 12" wide weld wheels. he even put on on sunvisors and a moab ready sticker on the windshield. lets get some picks one done, ****.
