It just snowed about a foot up here in Wisconsin and I was out playing in the snow when a cow jumped out in front of me. My whole front clip is pretty much gone. I was pricing and wondering if anyone knows a decent price for a front clip? The engine and radiator are ok.

I think you should first find out if the cow got an attorney and hope its not Johnny Cochran.

  :p :D
That the funyest thing I ever herd. LMFAO
I hope no one else got hurt.

That is really funny..lmao:D

HAHAHAHA...I'm sorry but it's too funny!!! :D :p I hope you'll find a good price on the front clip. Ya know what?? Try the junkyard and don't turn it into the insurance b/c they'll total it. So it wouldn't be good. :banghead:

LOL I'm in southern wisconsin, I've almost nailed plenty of deer but never a cow. Cows, deers, and illinios drivers are all hazards to us!

jk Illiniosians. :D

The owner of that cow owes you for your repairs. His farm liability insurance should pay.
Go for it....

If that happened on the Indian Reservation in Arizona, you would owe the rancher restitution for killing his cow, dog, sheep, horse, or what ever they have roaming out on the road.

It's just too bizarre to cruise down the highway and see sheep and horses grazing on the shoulder of the road with no fence to keep them in.

I've heard stories about people dieing from Car Vs Cow accidents on Farm to Market roads out in rural texas.

Bill Kemp might be right. My parents run an insurance office that deals primarily with farmers and they might be required to have liability insurance for stuff exactly like that. I'm not sure but you might want to check into it.

I hate to break it to you, but there ain't no way a cow jumped out in front of you. You may have hit a cow, but it didn't jump in front of you. LOL! :D

If the cow was in the road, then yes, the owner of the cow is liable for the damage to your truck. His farm insurance should pay to have it fixed.

LOL, could cows jump?

Well, the cow did jump over the moon in the Mother Goose rhyme. :p

ive seen cows get up and run pretty quick and i have seen them jump over 2' high fence. my pa in law had a cow hit and had to apy reperations to the driver. there is a fence law in FL that states teh livestock owner is responsible for fencing in all animals so that they cannot get out.

We have a Longhorn cow right across the cul-de-sac from us. I'll tell you what... at dinner time she jumps and runs... fast! It's amazing how fast that beast can run!

She likes kicking up a storm when it rains out also.

Are you sure about that? I know in Colorado livestack have the right a way. I just have never seen a cow JUMP out in front of anything before.

By the way, welcome to the board. Hope you don't mind people chuckling about this, but it is kind of funny.
Your best bet is a junk yard. I know there are some places on line you can buy used parts, but then the shipping might be to much.
