My daily driver is a Celica, but that just wasn't going to pull my boat 
so I needed to add a truck to my toy collection. The funny thing is that the very existence of this forum was one of the driving factors pushing me toward the Explorer. I like to do my own work on vehicles and the amount of support available for the Explorer is tremendous. So I bought myself a '98 Limited Edition V6 SOHC 4WD. I love it so far. It tows my 3,500 lb. boat no problem and I've done some mild off-roading. For a vehicle that doesn't exactly look rugged, I was surprised at how beastly it can be. So glad to be on this forum and I look forward to learning the vehicle inside and out and eventually contributing to help others.
