It's permanently glued on...it won't come off.

You really should spend a little more time typing your posts to get the grammar and spelling correct. Your posts are extremely hard to read.

Name one thing that is rong with it

ROFLMAO...get real kid...there isn't a single punctuation mark in your post. and you just spelled "rong" wrong....

You will get a lot more help from people if your posts are easier to read. People have a tendency to avoid posts that are difficult to understand.

big flippen deal

The big deal about poor spelling and punctuation is that is makes the person writing the information look very uneducated and stupid. People can infer a lot about a person from their writing style....

You just repeated your self but besides that thanks for the info. So the only way to paint the top of it is to remove the whole thing?

That is correct. If you do manage to get the top off, you have broken the unit. If you want to paint it, remove the whole reservoir from the truck.

Do you think that might be complicated?

No..It's 2 or 3 screws that hold it down. Easy to do.

Suggestion: Go out and buy yourself a Haynes repair manual for the truck. Most auto parts stores carry them. They cost about $15-$20 and are written so that the average shade tree mechanic can understand how to work on the vehicle. It's an excellent source of information and has photos and detailed information on how to do everything from change your oil to rebuild your engine.

ok, thanks.

There are a few bolts to take it out. Then you have to disconnect the radiator line, the windshield washer line, and there is one electrical plug. After you do this you can take it out. Plug up the holes at the bottom and fill up both tanks with CLR or something like that and let it sit for a while. Then poor it out and rinse it out well with water. That should clear up the walls on the side making it easier for you to see your fluid levels. Then you can paint the top any color you want. To do this just mask the clear part with newspaper and spray the rest. I did mine this way... here is a picture.

I did mine in black and then I touched the letters up with some chrome.

Hey mental use ms word or some other writing program. Then copy and paste it to your post, it will correct your grammar and spelling automatically. This is what I do since I’m not the world’s best speller.

cursing wont work? you sure your usin the right words?

if that dosnt work than try hiting it with a stick. im a big fan of the hit with stick method.
