eh like it matters...they'll never build a solid front end explorer, ever.If you want a offroad rig you have to build one, ford is just weeding out the checkbook wheelers (they have a home at jeep) LOL

One can always hope though.

True...but they do have the ranger fx4 level 2. I looked at one, had meater tires, torsen, alcoa wheels...pretty sweet truck. That's our best bet in my opinion...the full sizes are too big for the trail.

It's not just about having a SUV you can wheel with it's about having a SUV that is capable if need be like a true SUV is. Like driving in 6" or deeper snow. Occasionally getting in rougher roads going fishing or hunting and having the ground clearance to do it. Most of the SUVs out there today are not SUVs. They don't meet the critera of being an SUV no matter what name the manufacturer slaps on them.

I'm not a fan of H2's and H3's but when I looked at the hummer website and the videos of the obstacles, it really did kind of impress me. they are actually reaching out to the offroad community.
tv commercial wise.... I've only ever seen GM (mainly Chevy) and Hummer and Nissan (GM??) advertise offroad capability. Ford needs to step up to the plate.

I'm glad Ben stepped in to take care of this while I was away...but I'm back now and you should know better than to post flamebait like that on this site, let alone in one of my forums.

Don't do it again.
