Hi, my name's Roe, and I'm a Fordaholic. Just joined this site after cruising through it to find info on my exploder. I currently have a '01 sport mostly stock for now, but my mods include: lowered via blocks & torsion twist, billet grill, stereo and speakers, interior led lights so I can see the ashtray(shame on Ford!). I plan to add 17" wheels/tires, subs, amps, painted body cladding, window tint, poly sway bushings, flowmaster cat back, sct programmer, kitchen sink, bla, bla, bla.
BTW, has anyone tried or heard of anyone else trying to stuff a 4.6 in a '01 sport? It seems more reasonable to me rather than a $4000.00 huffer kit from explorer express.
How about installing a sport trak rear bumper to get rid of that ugly gap under the tail light? Just curious.

Hey! What's up? The thread I am most interested in right now is how to pay for all of my planned mods! I'm so broke I can't even afford to pay attention! Thanks for the info and I'll check out your posts here in a bit.

Welcome to Explorer Forum! We do have a section just for lowered trucks, and a section just for audio and lights. Check them out! I'm sure there will be some great info and ideas there.

When my parents built their house in Shawnee in 1978, the same home in Olathe was 30k less--back then it was 17 miles of country from Lenexa to Olathe--

Now the values are 15 percent higher than Shawnee---

150 HWY used to be the fastest way to go from the west. Now it's a giant light filled cluster fawk.

hello everyone,

Gee wiz! So many responses! I'm blushing! I agree that O-town has really changed a bunch! The thing I miss about the old Olathe is the cruising on Friday and Saturday nights. That was a ton of fun, but it began to draw a rough crowd and the city cracked down. too bad, lotsa fun! are there any cruise nights around the KC metro area anymore? I know it's not "green" to waste gas driving around all night, but I kind of miss it. Highway 150/Santa Fe is a total fuster-cluck right now. If you guys have not been through in a while, the city is in the process of putting in overpass bridges over all of the railroad tracks. What a mess.
