But would a 1997 2wd Ranger be able to tow a flat deck trailer with an Explorer on it? Im assuming it cant, but I dont know very much about tow weights and such, and Im just curious so far.

I doubt it very seriously. The Explorer alone is probably in excess of the Ranger's capacity.

Thats what I thought, but I figured I'd ask to be sure. Im looking to buy a 2wd ranger or F-150 thats around 1997ish for a street truck.. And then I started thinking maybe I could use the Ranger to tow the Ex. I know the F150 can but again, Im totally unsure as to what a Ranger can and cannot do I guess I'll have to get my brother in law to tow my truck to the trails when I get the Ranger.. haha
