incredible gas mileage

WHAT??? They used to have a Friday night all you can eat buffet :(

I did move about a year ago and hadn't been back there since they added the "spa"

Maybe they do, I haven't been up there on Friday nights before. They did some renovations. That little bait and tackle shop was torn out and they expanded the restaurant into where that used to be. It looks all new now (except for the bar). They also added on a two story addition on the end closest to Buckmasters. That's the new bait shop/general store/gas station for boats.

They finally tore Stinnents down, and the three houses that were next to it. They're going to put in more condos.

Wow...unbelievable. I give the mayor of CB 5 years and he'll have the "pier of yesteryear" rebuilt if he gets his way.

Sorry guys! I'll get roughly back on topic :P

My best in my 05 OHV is 300 on a tank 21.4 gal. AC off, rough on the pedal.

driving like there's an egg on the pedal gets me about 270-280.....I think it's a bit odd but tested it twice, my norm driving and egg driving.

Norm = 300
Egg - 280 max

Both A/C off, bone stock.

I'm pushing on my personal best so far though, straight highway driving (minus the 5 miles with 2 traffic lights to the interstate), I'm at 1/4 tank at 260 miles, A/C off, my normal driving, I'm expecting 310-320. We'll see

My 98 ohv gets around 288 when the gas light comes on with A/C on, prolly could make it to 300. Brush gaurd prolly weighs it down some but other than that not many mods at all except syntheic oil

well my road trip was gay. 65 mph the whole time, both ways on one tank of gas. All it got was 23.Xmpg. thats weird since in the city al localy on the rural hyways i get 21.

My 2000 EB will get 410 miles on a tank if mostly all highway (that is with cruise set at 70 MPH). This morning on the ride into work I got 23.3 MPG.

My 2002 EB gets around 21.1 on the highway.

I'm gonna have to take a road trip to see what happens. I average 14-15 in day to day driving.

I got 518 miles on my last tank. This tank I'm headed for even more. For some reason even though the tank is only supposed to be 21 gallons I've fit over 24 gallons in it.

yeah i didnt know u could get such a high gas mileage in MD ;) but then again, he's got a manual - rarity factor.

The manual is the main reason I get that good. All synthetics, KKM intake and a short shifter all contribute to it. I drive about 70%-80% back roads in Carroll, Howard and Montgomery Counties, fortunatly not too much stop and go. The rest is highway. I have such a heavy foot on the highway I think I actually get worse mileage on the highway than normal driving.

Hello everybody!
I've read your posts and I still have a problem:
I bought a 97 OHV and before I went to the mechanic I had a very good fuel consumption in the city 16 l/100km (15 mpg) and after that the consumption increased upto 26 l/100km (9.3 mpg).
At the mechanic I have changed the oil (all of them) and the air filter. I also cleaned the injectors (using the ultra-sounds).
Since I could not find a solution to this huge fuel consumption I went to Ford representatives in my country (Romania) who were unable to tell me why this happend.
Could someone please ghive me a hint?
Thank you in advance

Well I just got 436 miles on mine. I thought that was amazing as I rarely got over 325 miles EVER!

However, I think I broke the laws of physics, since I pumped 23.4 gallons into my 20.8 gallon tank that wasn't completely empty. I don't know how I did that; unless the hose from the gas cap to the tank holds 2.6 gallons.

Anyone else pump way too much gas in their tank than they thought it could hold, and wonder where it went? (And not on the gas station floor!) :)

Obviously, this probably has everything to do with my great gas mileage...

I just got *cough* 25mpg on my last tank.

Yup. I'm still trying to figure it out. I've put in over 24gallons in before and regularly get over 23gallons in there. I think there's a trans-dimensional vortex living in the bottom of my tank that the gas goes in.

hey what ever happened to that meet and greet down by the bay? i'd be down for that - hopefully before it gets too cold!!

yeah some one wip this one into shape !!!!!!!!!

There is one in the works either in Annapolis or Columbia Maryland
