injector cleaning question .

im sure that removing the injectors for cleaning would be the best way . how about bringing the truck to a shop where they hook up to the intake to clean them . i was told that the injectors have a screen inside and it doesnt get as clean this way due to the screen .
this cost approx. $80 as compared to $250 the other way.

a professional injector cleaning is usually around $80. And you can take them the whole truck, not just the injectors

My uncle uses STP fuel injector treatment in his truck and swears by it. He said by the second treatment theres a noticeable difference. He also said to only do it when you know you'll be driving alot. If left too long it will eat hoses and such

I took my 24# injectors out of my stang could i just take the injectors in to be cleaned?

Well here is my .02

If you put in a fuel injector cleaner every 2-3K miles...your injectors won't get dirty, at least not to the point that you need to take them out and clean them.

Try either Redline or Lucas products.

I used Lucas when I had my Powerstroke and I worked great!!!!

I use Redline on the gas engines.
