You can access this under Fuel Economy. What the Inst stand for? Instant? Instruction?

I played around with it this morning on my way in, just filled up, tried real hard to keep my foot on the gas even (driving into downtown Dallas -- cruise control not effective).....anyway, averaged 27.6 mpg so very curious as to what Inst means.

Have the Ecoboost

From your user manual it states that it is just an information display option that shows you the instantaneous fuel usage. It looks like it should be showing the information in the box between the tach and rpm display, but that is only if you have a type 1 information display cluster.

In the left side MFT, there you can have the instantaneous fuel economy displayed. This is shown like a bar chart, with the bar moving to the right as fuel economy increases. Similar to the analog dial in the BMWs.
