i have the 4 inch fabtech lift on my 94 2wd. I have new rear leaf springs, shocks, extended radius arms, drop down brackets, and everything else needed. Its awesome..It rides so much better than stock. I'm going to take pictures this weekend and have them developed as soon as possible. I'm so stoked.

Personally I love Fabtech! I have a superlift 5.5 on my Explorer. But I can relate to how happy you are. I wanted something different so I bought a '71 mustang. Then put it on the frame of a F-150. Once that was all done I had Fabtech custome make me a 8 inch lift for it. Ever seen a 4x4 Mustang. Looks weird but drives great. I also had Fabtech make a 6 inch lift for a 74 VW bus. That is fun! I have found that lifting things that are out of the ordinary rocks. Can't get that from a superlift. All in all for my explorer I like the superlift but for the odd jobs that I do I would go with Fabtech anyday!. Brian, I am glad to see that you got something you are happy with! Hope to see you at the next Run!

Hey Brian, I have a 91 2wd and want to get a lift for it, looking at the Skyjacker, but how much was the Fabtech lift? What was it for installation? I don't live by them but just wondering what I'm lookin at. What size tires did you get under there? Thanks. You can e-mail me if you'd like-->ratm128@aol.com

Brian, I would sure like to get some shots of your installation and shots of your truck offroad.

Sounds awesome. I know Fabtech makes some serious stuff for 2wd trucks.

Congrats!!

the kit started at around 1900. I wanted rear leaf springs instead of the block and payed a little more. The leaves were only 220. Installation from them was 550 and that included 4 wheel alignment and everything that needed to be done with caster camber. Since this was a kit it came with shocks, extended radius arms, new brake lines, springs, and drop down brackets. I know this is more than the skyjacker, but it will hold up better under more extreme conditions too. I'm running 265/75/16 which is a little over 31 inches tall and about 10 inches wide. I can run 33's..it has a lot of clearance. For some odd reason or until it settles i seam higher than 4 inches. Looks like i have as much clearance as the guys with the 5.5 Superlift. THe only prob i have is under full lock..and i mean full lock i rub on my radius arms. I can still turn really short. I would suggest if you have the money i would go with fabtech all the way. Not putting down skyjacker, but i've always heard bad things about them and their customer service.
oh.also check out fabtech at their website. think they changed it and are now aggressive suspension. www.agressivesuspension.com or www.fabtechmotorsports.com email them and see if they have any dealers near you or if they could work something out.
Hope this helps
Brian

my bad..if i could spell. www.aggressivesuspension.com i just checked it and it's under construction. So go with the fabtech link.
