Installing OME springs

Can anyone tell me if i can instal a set of OME springs my self or will i need to have a shop do it? If I can do it is it a 1 man job or will I need others. Also how long does it take? thanks!

when i put my leafs in i had a friend and my dad help me. but when i did it there was no right up on it and not very many people had done it. so i had to peice it all together on my own. so yeah you can do it yourself just be patient.

A write up? Here ya go:

Remove 8 nuts holding on u bolts
remove ubolts
remove lower bolt from both shackles
remove both bolts from spring hangers
remove leafs
remove lower shock bolts
replace leafs with OME's
replace bolt through spring hangers
reinstall bolts through lower shackle mount
reinstall ubolts
reinstall 8 nuts for ubolts
reinstall lower shock bolts.
The End

If yours was a 91-94, you'd have to do some grinding on the english eye on the front end of the leaf, but you don't so you don't. Easy, huh?

Sounds easy enough....Just gotta get those bolts loosend.

I did a Write with photos on the swaping form the Mono Leafs to the 4-door leaf pack. I am 99.99999% sure the write up will work for you. You just have to then that everywhere it says 4-ddor leaf pack, that its talking about your OME Springs.....
