Installing Serius

How difficult is the installation of the Alpine Serius tuner to my HU? Also, how is the antenna wire run through the vehicle?

cake man.
I did the whole task in less than two hours.

My reciever is under the drivers seat.
The wire links into my CD changer in the center console.
I put my antenna on the back of the Ex behind the wing so no one can see it
I routed the antenna wire THROUGH the rear seal for a clean air tight seal.

yeah that does sound easy, my local audio shop wanted $80 to install that.

yup, 80 bucks is what mine wanted too, when he told me that i just laughed and said "i take a shot at it". he said, well, you wont be able to see wires if we do it. cant see any wires in my car! only took bout a half hour. EASY. its ridiculous how much they charge to install somthing as simple as that!

It's easy as hell. I just ran mine under the dash out through the kick panel to the outside up behind the door hinges then up under the weather stripping along the window till i was at the middle of the roof and mounted it .

Hey, thanks everyone. I installed it on Saturday and it all came out fine with no problems. The pictures, instructions and encouragement were very helpful.

By the way, I am loving this satellite radio! With my ipod and Sirius, I doubt I will listen to FM radio again.
