Intake manifold gaskets!!!

Hello all,
I need to change the Lower intake Manifold Gaskets on my '97 SOHC, not being familiar with these engines can one of you VERY NICE PEOPLE tell me where they are or even better show me where they are and how to replace them please!!!!!!!

There was a recall on them i beleive from ford but i dont know if they will do expired recall work like so. Best thing to do is call and ask maybe you could haggle with them.

BTW lower intake gaskets on a SOHC are a PITA

I would get the $50 kit and do the whole job if your truck is under the recall.

You will need new upper intake gaskets too.

The lower intake is below the upper intake. The upper intake is that black plastic thing under the plastic cover that says SOHC on it.

Thanks for the help guys. A bit too complicated for me though, i am gonna have to take it to a garage.
