Would it be possible to install a performance intake manifold from a Mustang GT on my 4.6 Ex? Are any other parts compatible?

No. And when I say no, I mean not without tons of custom work. The mustang manifold is shorter, and puts the intake hose right in the damn fan. You can't get rid of the clutch fan, either. On top of that, you have to switch throttle bodies too.

I'm not guessing. Tried it. If you're hellbent on trying it yourself, I'll sell you the manifold, throttle body, fuel rails, and injectors cheap.

Haha in that case, ill take your word for it. Anything else from the Mustang that works?

Also, has anyone seen that new Zabteck throttle body in action? Is it at all worth it?

I have that throttle body. I can't think of a reason not to get it.

I also have several thousands of dollars of modifications, though.

What of the performance increase? Notice anything? Is it worth the $300?

Im coming up on a grand in performance additions alone so I figure this might be worth it, but if there isn't much to it then who knows.

Also, how is the install?

Install's easy. A hose clamp, 4 bolts, and 2 plugs.

Throttle response is improved... Less lag when you floor it.

Go for it. :)

And you better love me. I hate making a zillion little arrows.

Haha thanks a lot man. I appreciate that I jsut ordered a K&N to replace the kkm (Dont ask... i just had to do it) so the next thing on my list is that throttle body.

Did you paint the covers? How much did it run you?

Yeah... whachu got goin on there Andy? :)

Nah. Not paint. I've only painted stuff on the outside of the truck.
Those are the Ford Racing valve covers. They're a wrinkle finish powdercoat. They're made in silver, black and blue. Steeda has red and yellow, too, I think, but theirs are regular shiny powdercoat and the finish on the Ford Racing ones is just FAR superior.

Im a big fan haha if only I had the kind of cash to get the throttle body, intake, and valve covers....

Anyone wanna buy a KKM intake?
