Yes, my other summer tires are the Michelin MTX's 235 76r15's on steel rims. I'm sure the mustang rim setup is lighter, Definitely fatter.

I really think the intercooler is going to make all the difference in the world. Its going to be great to be able to show real world data. I think your right though, Id speculate around 210 to 220 horse right now.

Yea just depends on how much timing is being pulled and boost levels. I think you may be surprised. But yea I would think around 220-230hp, I would think

Very good, and get a data logging with the new IC system running.

Then do the exhaust, and watch it run lean again, needing more fuel again.

It is Speedfactor. The dyno they use is at 1465 Chevrier Blvd.
It's close to $125.00 for 3 pulls. So, doing a 'before' and 'after' will be about $250.00
Not exactly cheap, but I'm considering this a cost of what we all want to know.

Who knows, if the prototype is a great success this might become a performance option on the Banshee Supercharger. I want to help Ron out by getting him real world numbers.

That's not bad.probably not a lot of places around to even get it done.I'm sure the difference will be WELL worth it..

What if you did 2 pulls with cooler dry then one with fluid running through it?

Run your current tune for the dry intercooler pull, then your new tune with it cooling the intake air?

That would be a possibility. I'll have to check with James and see if the current tune would need massaging.

Without water flowing it will heat up very fast and be worse off, turns into a heater core.also can cause damage to the core.

Is the inter-cooler isolated from the radiator or does it share fluid?

The intercooler will have its own coolant system separate from the engine.
There is another issue with doing a pull with the intercooler running, and then another pull with the intercooler pump shut off might not be a true test.

I'd think that the coolant in the intercooler would still be cooling the intake air until the intercooler and fluid reached the same temp as the intake air. Not sure how much of a difference though, or how long that would take to happen.

transfer case

I would not run the truck on the dyno with the front drive shaft in. I have the same transfer case and I remove the front shaft before putting it on the dyno. There are about 10 bolts holding it on. If not removed you might burn up the Transfer case, even with the mod. I searched this forum and found some threads along time ago that led me to beleive this.

Yes, I remember reading about that also. I couldn't find anything but speculation. I read to pull the drive shafts also, but still don't understand what the difference is. If the solenoid isn't being energized, there's no drive to the drive shaft. I'll maybe pull it on the weekend just to be safe anyway.

Tim, I kinda figured it would be tough for you to drive in on a workday. Maybe on the next one we can plan a better time. I'm sure the dyno cash is better spent some on your up and coming trip right now.
