interior glow on with headlights?

I got it. Works perfectly.

This is what I did.....I ran a wire that's connected to the brown wire on my driver's side parking light with a scotchlock all the way through to engine bay, through the firewall.. into the the dash area and into the middle console area under the heater controls where the light control box is.. haha... It works.. and they come on with my autostart. I also have a switch to turn them off.

Yep. All of it doesn't matter anyways.. I got it working by wiring into the corner light.

I need batteries... I do need to take pictures though.. the truck is fixed, cleaned up a bit (inside) and I've got everything setup the way I want it now.. earlier I finally mounted the cb somewhere (top of dash) instead of having it shoved between the seat and middle console..

very nice... i've thought about getting the little storage compartment LMC Truck sells, and putting a cb and some lights in there... thought it'd be cool, have a hidden c.b., but a storage area as well... mostly for cell phone, wallet, insurance, and the cd holder

I personally don't like it, but I suppose it would work pretty good to keep things outta your way, making less of a clutter in your cab.

WAY too much work for something so simple. But oh well, as long as you got it working.

I agree, but I couldn't find the correct wire or anywhere else to wire to.. and didn't want to go through all the hassle of getting behind the dash for the switch. It really isn't too bad actually, having it wired from the light.

Could you guys comment on this?

Hey, I pretty much have all the same stuff and equipment as u(lights from oznium) and 2000 explorer. I am thinking of doing what you did, either have them on with the parking lights, or have them turn on when i open the door, and then turn off when i close it(i think its called the interior lighting).
Can anyone help me by telling me how to wire them into the interior lighting. I think i understand how to get them into the parking lights by reading this thread. Any help is appreciated.

Dunno for the dome light..
But here's some pictures..

u find it distracting when ur driving?

Not at all, I don't even notice it unless I look down or onto the passenger side floor. It's just there and it looks good IMO.. it doesn't distract anyone.

?uh....

dude......

hahaha lol but i do like those lights. I wish i had so of those all weather mats. I dont need them here in california, but i like the look. ya i would appreciate it if you could see what wire their hooked up to, i might even have it where white lights come on with the door ajar, and green when i turn on the parking lights
