Quick backstory from the last 30 days- Had clogged moonroof drains in the front. I cleared the drains and replaced the moonroof motor since it was bad- the roof wouldn’t close. Works perfectly now. (Side note! Dealer wanted $2,100 to replace sunroof motor. I did it for $200 in less than an hour!)
BUT after replacing the moonroof motor I now notice the interior lights don’t come on when I click them manually. They turn on when I open the door or hit the button on the left side of the dash. But not when you press them. My rear power folding seats also do not work. Are these things related to the sunroof problem? I don’t use the rear folding seat buttons often so I don’t know when it started. But now my seats are stuck in the folded position and I can’t move them. No noise from them trying to engage. I also pulled the fuse and it’s fine.
Any ideas?
