A weird problem...Just got this 2004 Ford Explorer XLT 4.0 L with 126 k miles. I unlock it, open the driver's door (or any door for that matter) and NO INTERIOR LIGHTS COME ON. I can then go to any switch, like the dome light or the light back in the cargo area and turn them on manually by moving the switch, but if the switch is in the middle position, it does not come on when the door is open. Likewise, if I rotate the dimmer switch on the dash to the right of the headlights control switch (the one that controls the instrument panel) all the way til it clicks, still NOTHING HAPPENS. What am I doing wrong?
