Intermittent power window problems.

Hello,

First post here. Just bought a 96 xlt. Anybody know why my drivers side power window works sometimes and not others?

All other windows work fine from the driver control panel and on their own.

Greetings from another Calgary dude. 2nd gen Explorers suffer from all sorts of ailments inside the doors. This site has been in existence for a LONG time, so scour the archives. Probably lots of solutions/fixes in there.

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the stock 95-01 section. Check the wiring between the door, and the frame. Those wires eventually develop cracks from opening & closing the door.
