Introduction and problem with driveshaft noise

My name is David and have a 2006 Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer, V8 4.6L 2WD. I just recently had the transmission rebuilt and after approximately 3000 miles we noticed a clunking noise at very low speeds. I almost sounds as thought something is loose. It is very intermittent. Doesn't occur all the time. It sometimes makes the noise when shutting the SUV off. Does anyone have a clue what may be the problem?

Check the exhaust shield or the cover of the catalytic converter.
