When I got rid of my old intake box and put a cone air filter in there was some hoses hooked up to the stock box. So my question is, is it safe to drill into the stock intake tube. So I can hook the hoses back up to a filtered air supply?

ok,thanks

those are vaccume lines that controll the heated inlet so they are not needed with a cone filter. you dont need to plum them in to the air tube and if you do it will cause a vaccume leak causing it to run lean. so plug the lines and you wont have a problem.

Well 1 line does nothing. The other is the vacuum line & just needs to be plugged. A golf tee or small screw will do it.

There's no need to plum anything.
