If you analyze the pic, it comes down to: they show a pic of a 16 pin integrated circuit but it requires 2! butt connectors, not a 16 pin socket. How the hell are you gonna connect the other 14 pins?
It's just another one of the scams that have you add a 19 cent Radioshack resister to fool the computer into thinking the outside temp if cooler than it actually is.
