Is this what KKM looks like?

I was expecting KKM brand on the box but instead I got this. It says, S&B High Flow Power. Is this correct or KKM is trying to pull a fast one on me?

Thats it, If you read on thier site, it says reuseable S&B filter. There is no KKM brand one. Hope that clears it up

wow that many in 6 months i thought i was bad. alaskanjack mine thinks the same thing lol i have yet to convince her that its this site. she wont buy it ..

yep. kkm is just the bracket, menaning if you want an actual K&N filter, you can swap it out for the S&B it came with, although they perform about the same once you are cone intake.

I found myself a woman. She's sleeping right now. Actually it has been 8 1/2 months since I joined this site. I remember I used to go out on Friday nights, hang out with friends and watch a lot of cable tv. But now..., hey, THIS is more important. I have my life priorities straight now.

KKM is cheaper and does the same thing as K&N. I did find that the K&N is bigger and, ofcourse, CARB certified which is important if in your area the emission inspection is very strict.

...and for 1st gens, K&N only makes a drop in taht doesnt really help squat..i know, i had it. thats what made me switch.

I ran out of the cleaner that last time I went to clean it. But I read on one of the bottles, I think the oil bottle, that you can clean the filter with dishwashing liquid or laundry detergent. So I used dishwashing liquid.

How do you actually clean it? Do you run it through water with soap- inside and out? Aren't you supposed to apply oil as the final step?

I found out when I bought parts for my go kart, that go kart race stores sell the economy size K&N cleaner and oil bottles. I found that the auto parts stores only sell the little kits.

i got my kit free when i bought the K&N that i ended up removing for my KKM.
