Jensen uv8020 hook-up.

i have a 96 explorer. i need to hoo-up the park brake wire so my dvd can play. can anyone help me solve this problem? as you all know, there is no elec. connecter on the parking brake. what or where can i hook this wire up to?

Well you have 2 options:

1) Well, if I am looking at page 32 of this wiring diagram correctly, I believe it is a light green/red wire originating from the parking break pedal itself:

2) I am in no way advocating that you do this. I am not responsible for any accidents you may have as a result of you performing this, but you can ground the parking brake wire. Doing so will allow your unit to play while your car is driving. Again, its dangerous, its illegal, and I am not suggesting that you do it (even though I have done it to my own)
