Just bought a 99

Hi all,

I just sold my 91 and got a 99 - really happy - it is quite a bit different than my 4dr. It is way sportier, has 1/3 more power - my 91 had 340,000km on it (214,000miles) My new one has 135,000km - 83,000 miles and the paint is so perfect it does not even have a chip on the hood. I do like the handling and the power - but I do not like the seats as much as my 91. The length of the bottom of the seat is way shorter and it does not go back as much - which is stupid as I am 6'3". I will have to look into alternatives for that.. and take it to ASC and get a manual sunroof put in.

I love my 99'. If you want to keep the hood free from chips and the
windshield free from bugs, invest in a "Bug Deflector" from www.weathertech.com
I did, and it's the best simple add on that I have ever seen.
I also added the side window air deflectors. Looks very nice, too.

I agree I think the first gen seats were more comfortable, atleast in the XLT's.. Nice looking ride now get the mods started, billet grill, diamond cuts, and HID's... A 2" drop would really be rock'n...

One of the things I would like to do is lift it 4 inches and add 32x11.5 Mud terrains BFG & install my CB radio but tomorrow I am going to see a 1999 with a standard transmission.. and it is red. I am in love..
