just need a second opinion

im picking up 4 7" rally lights that are 12V 100W, im running them to a light bar, and just wondering what size fuse/wire/relay i should use?

the load should be 8.3 amps per lamp ( so 33.2 amps total ), and at about 15 feet of wire.

I'm thinking 10 or 12gauge
a 35/40 amp fuse at the battery
40 amp relay


right??

I'm thinking with that kind of power go with the 10 gage to be be safe. 40 amp fuse and relay should work..

This is a good chart. And yes, I also think you can use 12ga. wire without a voltage drop. Seems it would be good up to 18' or so. 12ga is easier to work with and the connectors are more available.
