I bought a 2000 XLT SOHC for $24000, it only had 36000 miles and was a program vehicle in mint condition. it now had over 133000 miles with a few minor repiars (window motor and a new wire from the master switch to another window, clean the IAC once every 6 months, replaced the seat recliner bolt), this is in addition to the standard maintenance items. I am getting a list of things to test/check together because of some issues I am seeing.

1) check MAF
2) Check O2 Sensors
3) check front suspension
4) baby the Tranny for a bit longer (see if I can get 150000 out of it with an occasional code from a selenoid problem)

In all honesty I love my explorer, we are replacing my wife's Infinity QX4 which has fewer miles on it because I love my Explorer (it's my second Explorer).
