I went and looked at this. It's pretty if you like explorers. Very clean and no rust.

Rule #1 when selling a car is to have it detailed. That's how you get it sold and get the best value out of it. People don't want somebody else's dirty vehicle. They want a rice clean well maintained vehicle.

If you have a 98+, you need a 98-01 message center, they are different from the 95-98 message centers. If you have an OHV engine, you need a PCM from an Eddie Bauer with an OHV... I think they only offered that for one year, so I wouldn't bother with it if I had an OHV. But, I see you have a 98 V8, so you should be fine as long as you get a message center from a 98-01 Explorer.

Less work though just to put in a scangauge or ultragauge.

damn it is much easier just to get one of these. PnP and im done. i like the SG2 because its small and id mount it on top of the rear view mirror, but i like the UG because its a bigger display, and about half the price.


edit: just saw the torque app for droid, thats pretty cool. not as informative as the ultragauge though. but ill try that and go from there.
