Alright, finally getting underway and heading down there. Ended up getting a late start this morning, due to getting talked into hitting up the bars last night. As if its hard to talk me into doing that....

Well, we got the rear axles swapped without a hitch, kinda.
I made sure to do a burnout on the stock wheels and tires gman loaned me

had a great time,, got it all lifted and locked,, and now since we didn't wheel, the trip home is next,,,

k, we didn't wheel, but the shakedown was a success, 1000 mile road trip, no complications,, just a slip on a bridge made bad by some ricer with summer tires, he was spinning and sliding, and made it slick for me, but the locker got me going and kept in line,, no problem,,

if you were watching the weather network, you would have seen how bad the crap i drove thru was, form, 8 inches of snow on the road, to visibilities in the inches, and many miles at 30 mph or less,
but i call it a sucesss, and the end of the bloody curse, i went and had no complications onsite, and all the way home, safe, no problems,,

I had to surprise Pete by showing up. The look on his face was priceless when I jumped out of the passenger seat of Steve's rig. It was kinda difficult to keep it a secret from him, but I think it was mission accomplished. I had fun, this was a good weekend meet.
