Well, there was no way of knowing without a picture since that’s a generic aftermarket fob. It probably is for a function your car doesn’t support.

Then it must be from a different year or model of Ford. If you put “2005 Explorer keyfob” that doesn’t show up at all in the first few hundred images.

The picture Mbrooks420 provided is the correct FOB. The other one seems to be for a different Ford, or for an aftermarket accessory, and I think the button in question is for "remote start:".
