So I get in my X yesterday and drive out to pick up some parts from doradaexplorer and when I get to his house I notice a 7ft key mark down the drivers side of my truck, from the front tire to the rear tire. It just so happend to be at the perfect height of this rust bubble I had under the paint and it blew it wide open. the rust spot is the size of a quater or so.
The scratch is pretty deep, and If my truck hadn't been repainted 2 times in the past it would be to the metal, but its down to the primer and is like a 1/8 inch high(top to bottom of scratch). As for the rust spot its right on the lip of the drivers side door the side near the fender, any ideas?
Short of repainting again (which the truck could use) i dont think there is anything that is going to make this scratch look any better, any help would be apreciated. I will try to get pics tomorrow, Thanks in advance, Jon
