2013 Ford PIU
I want to program the 2013 PIU to have feedback when I press keyless Lock/Unlock button. So when I unlock it from remote, the light flashes and when I double click lock from remote it honks twice. Right now it has no light or honk when I lock/unlock it when press the keyless buttons. It does lock/unlock though.

Also I want to enable the auto lock and auto unlock. It is not listed in Convenience menu as a regular Explorer does.

I'm not sure if that is doable with the current setup. The 2016 and 2017 fobs have that feature but I don't know if they would be compatible with a 2013. I think I read somewhere here that they are not.

Find the unlock code to enable light. But no honk when lock.

Finally got the lock and unlock feedback. Thanks PlatinumOwner and PeterK9. Found them in BCM module configuration (not the as built format). Actually, I enabled quite a few features in the easy module configuration. For any new owners, I highly recommend to check out the easy module configuration first. I did not find the auto lock/unlock for my 2013 PIU though, I will keep looking.

Autolock - is that when the doors lock after the speedometer reaches a certain threshold? And auto unlock when the doors unlock after you shift from D to P?

Yes, that's what I want.

Auto unlock will not unlock the doors when shifting from 'D' to 'P'. It will auto unlock when you open the driver's door within 10 minutes of turning the ignition off.

I believe I can open the driver door when shifting from D to P but the other three doors remain locked. This is my first Ford vehicle. Is this the way for Ford vehicles? All other vehicles I drove before unlock all doors when shifting from D to P.

I don't know about the PIU if is different or not but in the regular Explorer you have the option in the 'Settings' to have just the driver's door unlock or all doors. Do you have the Owner's Manual? It is explained in there.

This option is missing from the Convenience menu in my 2013 PIU. This might be hidden somewhere in the BCM but nobody knows which one. Wonder if anyone can share the BCM screenshots for a 2013 explorer.
