Does anyone have some numbers on a comp vr 15, decibel wise? I'm running one cvr 15 with an audiobahn a8002t, 800 rms amp. The box is the "street bass" box from kicker's tech manual. It is ported and is 4 cu. feet. I'm just lookin for a range, doesnt have to be decibels. Anyone think that it would be loud? decent? not loud? just throw me some opinions if u could.

i would guess it will be in the mid to upper 130's. im sorry, but audiobahn equipment is always overerated on their specs. Kicker is a damn good brand, however, 15's and larger tend to suffer a little bit in sound quality.

well, what amp would you suggest? i am on a low budget, thats why i was going for the a8002t, if you have anything you would suggest in place of this amp, that would be great.

I'd get a Kicker amp that matches or exceeds the RMS specs of the woofer. I had a 10" Kicker in a custom built box in my wife's Sentra and everyone thought she had two 12s. Kicker makes good stuff but a good amp by them will not be "cheap" depending on your definition of cheap. What dollar amount are you working with in your budget for the amp?

Not Much

Not much at all, i'm lookin for it to be under $200, the retail may be higher, but i'm most likely going to get the amp on ebay. so, it just depends on how much i can get it for on ebay. i would love to get a kicker, but they are outta my range even on ebay. Why wouldnt the audiobahn be a good choice? i've heard good things about them, but 4x402 said that aubiobahn wouldnt be the way to go.

It's all personal prefrence. I've never used audiobahn so I can't make an honest assesment. Are the components listed comprise your current system or what you plan on purchasing.

i have the comp vr 15 already, but i need to find an amp for it and build the box

depends highly on the box that they're in...many 15s and 18s out there can beat most 10s in SQ with the right enclosure

cant go wrong with kicker amps...JBL is also good for the money

the db is hard to even estimate without knowing many many more variables...but i dont think you could get over 140 very easily with that setup

450.2?

Anyone hear anything good or bad bout the kicker kx 450.2, or any kx's for that matter? i'm planning on getting the 450.2 soon, its about 170 with shipping, b/c its a factory refurb.
