ladder bars or 4-link?

does anyone have any input on which is better/safer? i'm finally fed up with wheel hoppin and i'm lucky i haven't broken anything or wrapped up my axle. a ladder or double bar setup seems easier but where to mount?

a simple link on the top of the axle is working just fine for me, the front link is about dead even with the front of the leaf pack.
