I have a 1992 Sport and I am looking into putting on a 2.5" or 3" body lift with larger tires. I hardly do any off-roading, I am just looking for a more aggressive look. Any suggestions on tire size, or brands of lifts would be helpful. Thanks.

I don't know about the lift brands but I have a 1.5" lift with 31x10.50's and they barely clear the low front bumper that the sports have. So I'm guessing with a 2.5" lift you could fit 32x10.50s, probably not 32x11.50's though. good luck.

I have a '91 with a 2.5 Rancho lift and have 32x11.5x15 on mine. They only fit if you're willing to do some major trimmings. I think I saw in one of the threads that there is one or two manufacturers that makes 32x10.5x15.

We have a James Duff lift 2.5" and the 31x10.5" tires fit great (even with hard core flexing).. The 32x11.50 tires will fit, but not by much.. The only place we rub is the inside of the fender well.. It is plastic so I'm not too worried about it. I will modify the inner fenderwell once we finish moving to the new place..

It isn't the height that is the problem.. its the width.. We are running the 32x11.50's on 15x8's.. I think it has 3.75" backspacing..

I fit 32x11.50s on my Explorer with only a 2" body lift, and some very minor trimming. I fit 33s once I added a 2.5 suspension lift.
