I don't care for the look personally, but at least it's got a finished look to it which looks WAY better than another attempt I saw recently to do the same thing on a 2nd gen Explorer.

I feel the same way. I don't personally care for the look of it, but it was a great idea and does look really clean and finished. My 14 year old brother gawks at every lifted truck he sees and I just roll my eyes because each one lacks the quality finished clean look that yours possesses.
However, I think that it looks neat in the 2nd, 4th, and 5th pictures. I guess if you turned them off at night when the headlights are on and just use them as drls they would look alright.

I think that looks great! Where did you purchase them? Did you wire them into your headlight wiring harness? good job!

:)

thanks, i got them from auto zone. they're wired to my parking lights. they were around $25.

i like the 2nd picture where it accents all the ribs in the plastic,, i like that look, ,

Do you have an model or brand name? I do like the look and are they mounted outside the headlight housing? Nice job!

the brand name is Alpena. they come in two packs and many different lengths. and yes they are outside the headlight housing.

It looks ok..not my thing either. I don't even like it in the new audis so I'm biased..

It looks really cool I think. I have thought of doing the same thing. I thought about putting them inside the light. Pull the bulb out and run them in through the hole it goes in if it would be possible to get them to lay down even down in there that is. You could take some sorta stiff wire or something to position them maybe. You would have to drill a small hole to run the wires out the back of the light then silicon it to seal it.
STU

thanks guys
