Hey all,

On the 4-way connector of my 2001 Ford explorer sport, the yellow wire, the one for left side light, doesn't have any voltage when I turn on left turn signal or step on brake pedal. I'm hoping to find the connector these four wires are connected to so that I can trace where the problem is. I wonder if anyone knows the location of such connection.

Thanks
Jia

I had the same problem with my '02 Sport Trac. I tapped into the wire that powers the left taillight of the truck and ran a new wire from there to just before the factory trailer connector. I think the connector you're looking for is behind the left taillight, maybe down a little lower.

Turn out the yellow and green wire on that connector each has a fuse. One of them is blown.
