LIFT AND GEARS???

Right now i am planning on adding a 3" body lift plus the TT/shackles lift to my '95 explorer with 33" tires. My first question is: Will the larger tires cause problems woth power(do i need new gears)?, and if i do need gears, do you think i could find some at a salvage or junk yard?

It depends on what gears you have now. Look on the sticker on your driver door and get the code. Decode it here: http://www.users.qwest.net/~ntrpriz/main.htm .

You should be fine with 3.73s or above. Below you will notice some power loss. 4.10s would probably be ideal.
