If you have any kind of lift (RB, Springs)

How much lift do you have?

And what size wheels you have?

Pictures if able

Welcome!

My lift is an old-head lift :) I have Coilsprings 2.75 over stock in front, and 1.5 over stock on the rear... The tires are 265/70/17... I'm setting up the front bumper for 6 PIAAs (2 above, 4 below them). There are two HID lights on either side, and they will stay (4" each). The two rectangular Hellas will be relocated... Most narrow garage I've ever had :(

For current lifts, tire sizes, etc... hold on :D

This is an XLT with the plastic removed... The XLS fender flares replaced the stock ones, and diamond plate aluminum strips replaced the plastic...

That might be hard to find since an 05 Explorer does not have torsion bars....

coilsprings

hey dude. where did you get the coilsprings from? Im thinking about getting rancho quick lift springs for my red 2005 explorer XLT. Also, can you do a lock to lock turn with that tire size you have?

Hi, welcome to the forum :chug:

Here's a link to a stickied thread in the New Members forum which explains your options for posting photos in the forum:

http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=147920

The link you provided above does not resolve for anyone.

As far as your other question about where to buy the Rancho Quick Lift complete loaded assembly... you can checkout http://www.4wheelparts.com/

That is a costly option, around $800 for all 4 wheels. If you are working on a budget, there are much cheaper options out there. Personally, I would look into BTF spacers. Since you're in the Modified 3rd Gen section already, scroll up to the stickied posts at the top and read about the BTF spacer install. The lift kits are $250 shipped and Brandon is a trusted vendor on this site. He also makes some really nice uniball upper control arms that will merry up well with his spacer lift. You could get his control arms and spacers for the same price as the Rancho lifted struts, although you can use your stock control arms/ball joints with his lift if you so choose :)

Again, welcome to the forum :salute:

Who is the manufacturer for the body lift, and did it require any modification? Fan shroud? Steering column?

Everything you would ever need to know about it is written in detail in the sticky thread you scrolled past to find this one.

And considering the only two things you asked about having to modify are in fact the ONLY TWO THINGS YOU HAVE TO MODIFY, it's likely that you already read about it and this post is completely pointless.

Man I'm starting to sound like Kyle... :banghead
