Lift and Wheel sizes?

engine swap

have you guys heard of anyone who has successfully swapped a 4.0 with a 4.6?

Also, how do you start a new thread from the home page? I haven't been on this forum in a a long time.

Someone, somewhere in the world has very likely swapped it. The amount of time, money, and labor in re-structuring the engine bay far outweighs the return of swapping them. The general response to this is always to just go buy a 4.6L instead. It's an asinine project (not saying you're asinine).

To start a new thread, go into the appropriate forum it should be placed in, and then hit 'new thread' button at the top and bottom of the left hand side.

lifting my explorer

I am a little confused on wheel spacers, whether or not the lift your truck or make your tires come out from the body further than normal. I put a link on this thread to see if you guys could tell me if the spacers on this site lift your truck or move the tires outward further away from the center of the truck. THANK YOU!

lifting my explorer

disregard that last post. I answered it on my own. If someone could point me in the direction of a good lift system that won't break the bank I would appreciate it!!!
