Lift kit and wheel size help plz

Hey i have a 92 ford explorer pretty much all stock few things ive done not really much. Anyways getting to the point i was thinking about a 3-5 inc lift kit and stuff and i was wodering what u guys thought about it like which would be better dealing with not being able to spend alot of money and if i did get the 5 inc lift kit would I be able to run the stock tires till I was able to afford the rims and tires and what would be the biggest ones i would be able to run? dealing with the 3 inc or 5 inc let me know what you all think thxs Ryan

Stock tires with a 5inch lift would look goofy but you can do it. As far as what size tires will fit check this thread Dead Link Removed
