Eh Everyone
I just bought a lift kit for my explorer I dont want a super high truck due to the amount of crazy offraoding i do...dont want to roll it...so i bought this 2" suspension kit and a 2" body kit..total 4" overall...anyways
The suspension kit is From doetsch systems and came with 2" blocks for the rear and new keys for the front. However I was looking at the suspension on my 98 Explorer Sport 2DR 4.0 ltr ....it has the axle above the leaf springs..
So if i install the blocks between axle and springs in my opinoin i am pushing the axle up further into my wheel well...in turn lowering the rise hieght not rising it. Can anyone explain if this is a lower kit or lift kit i dont think it will work on my truck....
if this kit will not work can anyone give me some sugestions on a way to Fab a decent 2" kit for my truck...
thanks for all your help
