Lifted Sport Tracs Picture Thread!

Clean it up with some tsp, tack cloth it, and them hit it with a few coats of truck bed liner. You can get a large can, enough to do a bull bar from WalMart for 8 bucks. The stuff works great. I refinished my side steps and they look great. Wish I could post a pic for you but I'm on my phone. I'll try to find a link to it.

She's coming together! Just waiting on my Super Duty steering box and drag link to come in and then it'll be about wrapped up. Unfortunately still open/open diffs but gotta wait for funds to start flowing again before lockers come into being.

Looks great man. I'm picking up my Dana 44 tomorrow and will hopefully have it installed by early fall at latest.

Damn, that is sick! Were you able to keep your abs?

Nope the ABS is gone unfortunately. But mine hasn't really been working since I've been running my 35s anyway so I'm not terribly worried.

Not only did i get a hell of a deal on the tires. I just bought a snap on mig welder and a brand new lockright locker for the rear for 300.

Winning

That's awesome Dave.

It's official, I now am a proud owner of a Dana 44 from a '89 Grand Waggy. It was originally from Texas, the guy took the body off the chassis and rebuilt the complete chassis, suspension and steering so all I need to do is regear it and get a high steer flat top knuckles. I'll be collecting parts and hopefully will have everything needed for the swap as well as a beater to drive around while it's under the knife.

Been wanting to do this for the past six years but drove over the road (never home to do the swap) and had other show vehicles taking all my money (building them), they're all sold now finally time for the Trac to get some long overdue attention.

I feel like I've seen an axle like that before lol. You trying to run 35s with similar lift to chad right?

Yep. Tired of talking about doing this and another year passes and I rebuild the front end (IFS) again because it can't handle the horrible roads of western Pennsylvania. I've done more damage driving on the roads then I have "ever" done offroading. It's been almost seven years that I've owned this rig and I've had it planned to do a SAS, SOA for the last six years, it's payed off and I don't have anymore show vehicles taking all my extra money.

If I can get the funds together fast enough I hope to pick up these...

6 37/12.50/16.5 BFG HUMMER TIRES ON 4 CUSTOM RECENTERED HUMMER H1 WHEELS WITH POLLY INNER BEADLOCKS . ALL CUTOM BUILT WITH TRAILWORTHEY FAB PARTS
