Working on my 13 PIU and I scored a full interior complete with dash trim pieces including the little panel on the left that includes Daytime running light switch. There is a lower switch bank on the same panel that has a liftgate button as well as a "tow" button. I cannot locate a dormant plug for it behind the panel. It would be really nice to be able to pop the trunk from inside since there are no buttons on my PIU, not even the overhead one.

Does anyone know if there is a plug pigtail for this switch bank tucked away somewhere or is it just not a part of the PIU wiring harness? Thanks

I don't believe PIU even had options for a powered liftgate. It's an entirely different rear hatch that has both the rear hatch lockout and the manual keyhole.

My understanding is that the button you are referring to is to open a powered liftgate. An FPIU harness would lack this functionality.

My thinking was along the same lines as those of member reDrocketofficial.
