Can someone tell me, please, if there's supposed to be a light for the center-mounted shifter/gear indicator (its dark, and unsettling, and I've only had this truck for a few months, and don't remember if it was ever lit up).

If so, any tips on replacing it? TIA, Drew.

Yes, I believe that it is supposed to be lit up. The chrome trim ring around the base of the shifter can be pried loose and removed. There are no fasteners, it just snaps out.

As stated above, yes there is a bulb. Remove thee trim ring and the center console piece and it's very easily seen and replaced down there.

If you have a multimeter check voltage on the connector for the bulb. also make sure you headlights are in the on position or the bulb may not be on.

Yes?, there is a bulb under it. Check you tube to see how to change it. I changed mine but that isnt my problem.
