I know a few guys have put lights in the gaps next to their license plate on the front of the 2nd gen bumper, but I can't find any threads about it. I can't find any PIAA or Hella square fogs to fit in those holes, and I was wondering what people who did it used. Seems tough to find something with those dimensions.

Thanks in advance.

they have a few different ones @ wal-mart but mabe if you look around but wal-mart would be cheapest ($17 for mine)

you will need to get different size bolts and get nylon spacers (which is what i did)

I was looking more for something square - fog type lights kind of light the PIAA 1500XTs. Thank you, though, thats the spot I'd like to put them. I was going to hit WalMart tommorrow and look, though I really wanted PIAA or Hella.

There are LOTS of square fogs at walmart just like the 1500XT that will fit in that spot. You can also find similar fogs at the auto parts stores. You may have to mess with the supplied bracket or fab something up to make it fit, though.

Yea, i figured that with the connector. I wanted to go the legit route and get brand name ones, but I guess WalMarts are fine. Do you think I would be OK soldering the old connectors from my stock fogs to the new ones so I can just plug and play with the old fog wiring?

Grabbed a pair of squares at Walmart, fabbed up some brackets and mounted 'em tonight. Will have pics tommorrow. :D

Nah, the ones I got are small, they fit with room to spare.

i almost like those better then mine :)
can you tell a big difference with and w/out them?

To be honest, not too much. The light is kinda blue straightaway and pinkish orange to the sides. Not the most manly lights, haha, but i really like the fit and the way they look. I needed fogs after removing my lower bumper valance anyway.

I Like it.

nicely done looks really good. now ya got me thinking....hmmm:thumbsup:

thats one thing i noticed with mine is they light up everything and i mean everything....... like 100ft tall tree's everything

Are they fogs or driving?

well the front of the box said off-road lights and the back said fog lights and said a description but i think their more like driving lights cause they light up everything

Yea, fogs aren't supposed to light up down the road like driving lights. Oh well, they look good and work, what more can ya ask for.
