I have the chrome grill gaurd on my truck. I want to put some round lights on it. I dont wanna pay 200 dollars for a set of round lights. I was looking at the pro comp ones are these a good brand? Also I want them to be chrome or sttainless stell to match the grill gaurd. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. If i can get a smaller pic of the front of the truck Ill post it so youll have an idea. Thanks

Yea that would work. Something like that. It looks pretty good. They have those at pep boys? or autozone?

yeah most of the time, but if your pep-boys is anything like mine, they usually have nothin. just call some auto parts sotres and ask them if they got em. BTW your X is tight. what color bulbs you got in the corners?

I went to Wal Marts and got some clear 3157's and 194's. They are clear so they dont show during the day. They work fine at night. Only thing I dont like is that they arent very bright. I guessing becuse of the wattage. The headlights are brighter. I was thinking maybe I should go with some superwhites to match the brightness up a little better.

Hey just saw your system photos. What all you got in that thing? I like the head unit that is a clean install. What kinda adapter was used to fit it in there> I was thinking bout a head unit and a equalizer under it. Think it will fit? Also what speakers have you changed? Doors?

I think some nice piaa 520 SMRs would look nice on there.

You can get the KC's from Dead Link Removed for a good price. Take a look at Summit's KC Page. That's where I got my KC's, and I love 'em!!

Are you looking for something to use off-road or while you are driving? I have a pair of pro comp 6" round 100 watt lights and they are great. I can only use them off-road because they are so bright. Mine are black but they come in chrome also. And they are not to expensive either. I got mine for $55.

the head unit and an equalizer will probably fit fine. Jurnom1 has it done and so does lizardtrac. the adapter is just the mounting kit for a explorer. i didnt change any of the speakers. i just put a sub in. once the sub is in you only have mid-high range in the stock speakers. so it still sounds good. plus i cant hear anything over my sub.

Get some Hella 500's if ya want the round look.

If you want cheap then look at mine. $60 per pair at pep boys.

I just picked up some 6 in round kc's from 88vert. They are looking really good on my chrome grill gaurd. Thanks Brad. Also red96camaro that is a nice looking rig. I like the tt/shackle and 3 in body lift they look great in that photo. Think I will do the same thing. Any problems with the body lift?

check out the pics in my sig. i bought 100wt canyon crawler from jcwhitney for $60. they are chrome. i bought a wiring kit with relay at discount for $20. i think that they look decent and they work like i couldnt imagine. i got them so that i could see deer on the side of the country roads. they cast a good sharp beam at least a mile no exageration. one thing that i am thinking about doing is getting 55w replacement bulbs as an electrician friend suggested 100wt is a bit strong for stock alternator and battery. i hope to have me a chrome grill guard soon... like this one:

Whats up with that price on that grill guard they offer free shipping too, that sounds too good to be true.I emailed them to check on the weight of it.i will let you guys know.Later Brad in iowa

i emailed them and they said that they wont have any late models until may but they do have the guards for the late models and that it is free shipping. there is another guy that sells a similar thing for $139 plus shipping. you never know they might be great but they might be crap. they do look nice though...

did they give you the weight?

his feedback is great!

i didnt ask the weight but i did ask him the guage of steel and if he considered it of good quality. ill ask him though.
