Gotcha, we have lots of salvage yards like that here. They try hard to charge 50% of retail prices, for all used parts. They also like to sell big things and nothing which is part of something bigger. That's why I asked, there is only one place that I like which allows pulling parts, any part, and are reasonable. I try to keep up with what they have, but the choices are slim and they are about 25 miles away.

That is an interesting Limited, I thought that the sunroof was standard. I was shocked with my 99 to find that the changer was an option. Night, happy Easter.

The way that junk yard works if if I want something like the electronics under a seat I have to buy the whole seat. The major difference between My limited and that limited if mine is a top of the line limited and that is a base model limited...No sun roof no high end sound system etc. On top of that the interior is that tan so that wont work. I do have the Limited hub caps off of it. They were just laying on the ground so I through thows in my truck to. This junk yard charges a lot of money. They don't have a limited 99-01 bumper but they do have the bumper support and they want $200+ for that when I can go buy a new one for $150 and a new cover for $150. But at least I know where a junk yard truck is like mine so if I do need a fender flair at any point I can go get it.

Man, that bumper price is rediculous. Is that because wrecked vehicles are more scarce in Alaska :scratch:

Bumper - $37-52 ($0-5 core charge)
Bumper Cover - $26
Bumper End Cap - $5
Bumper Filler - $11
Bumper Jack - $5
Bumper Shock - $5

Plus, it is a pick-a-part yard, so you can pull whatever you like...

My junkyard is super expensive as well. I know for a rear bumper they want $200, that's just for the steel no cover or anything.

What it looks like I'm going to do is get a brand new cover and reinforcements. $300 ish give or take not Ford but who cares. I just want it pretty again! Slowly getting there! No pictures yet, nothing has changed since the last batch of pictures. I SOLD my 20's did I tell you all that? They road like ****! They were not hub symmetrical I think thats the term for it? But selling them gave my the money to do the core support replace ment.

ALSO that kid that side swipped me back in December that I sent to jail. Well I got a letter the other day saying to add up all the money I think I deserve from this and I will be paid. So at minimum I will get my $500 deductible back and what ever else State Farm and swing my way. Also! State Farm is getting there $3,000 back! So once I get that I will be getting my bumper replacement. If 410Fortune gets back to me he should be sending me a printable grill. Thats all I should really need(I think). Cheers!

I still need all of your guys help! I need a paint able grill and a 99-01 Limited bumper cover & reinforcements. I can't aford much so please help me out! 410Fortune had a grill for me but I have not herd from him In a long time! So you got anything like that and can send it cheep or free would help to much! I'm getting so close Painting is whats going to kill me, and I'm running dry with money Thanks everyone!

I have this bumper.....

Sitting in my shed. I would let it go for a fair price. I just paid 217.00 for the new bumper cover a few months back, then pulled a bumper off a 97 at the junk yard a few weeks ago to help my approach angle a little. There is a few holes from where I had my lights mounted but could be filled in easily. Also I don't see any reason you wouldnt be able to sand it down and paint it the color you would like it to be. Is this a limited bumper? From a 99-01? If so got a pic? 99516

it's the bumper thats on my truck in the picture above. It's not a limeted bumper...its a xlt bumper from 99-01 but I don't see why you wouldnt be able to sand it down and paint it to be a limited bumper. Same exact design as a limited bumper.

Ok so there is no re update yet, its summer in the 60d's+ and I have just been chillin like no other. I do have Wednesday at 10 am set up to drop my truck off and pick it up Thursday evening having the core support replaced so I only hope for the best!

Few UpDates...

So Wednesday I take my truck in to have the core support replaced out of my 2000 with one out of a 1999 pear white look at the luck there.

Also I moved out of Russ's house so when I was moving my **** I took the latch off my old hood so my question is can Alex(car man) bolt that into my 1996 hood and make it all work? Or no?

Also I don't think I'm going to have the money for the body work until I win my disability case. If thats the case I am ditching the pearl going with Oxford White with a med silver flake in the first lair of clear to gave it that shine that I want SO bad.

Seeing how money wont be in issue once I get my settlement since they owe me over two years of back pay, I'm going to take it to Buch(body man) and say I want EVERYTHING fixed like brand new.

Now I'm dreaming, My buddy vroomzoomboom has the FLAMES I want for my truck! I'm thinking about having them done to while its in the shop with the same blue as my interior acksents(wow can't spell). Chevy Cobalt Blue. Got to love dreaming right?

BTW, just this weekend, i put projectors in evil. take a peak at the registry. i know yours got smashed, but they realy are not too hard to make if you buy the parts for them. hell, the only thing i had to do was aim them when i put them it, and that was using the stock adjusters!

Heres a qustion I just thought of! Your first lair for your flames is White how the hell would that work on my truck! My truck is white! Black?

Love the projectors but I'm not going to be looking at doing head lights for s grip my body is more important to me right now
